U4GM Monopoly go Event Duration and Scoring

Beam Up Bonanza runs from about 4:00 PM ET on August 23, 2026, until roughly 1:00 PM ET on August 26. It is a solo event, and the scoring is tied to Tax spaces and the two Utility spots: Electric Company and Water Works. At first glance, it seems like a matter of rolling as often as possible. It really isn't. You'll get more from your dice by watching your position and saving a strong multiplier for the right moment, especially if you're also collecting Monopoly Go Stickers.

Where the points come from

Every landing on a Tax or Utility space gives a set number of event points. Your current dice multiplier then increases that amount. The base value doesn't change, so the multiplier is where the real decision sits. A high setting on an empty part of the board can eat through dice with nothing to show for it. A modest setting is usually fine while you're moving through ordinary properties, Chance spaces, or the corners.

Watch the stretch near Go

The most useful section is the run around Go. Both Tax spaces are fairly close together there, and Railroads sit nearby. That creates a better chance of reaching a scoring tile without wasting several rolls. When you're a few spaces away, raise the multiplier for a short burst. Once you've landed, lower it straight away. It's tempting to leave it high and hope for another hit, but that habit can drain your dice before the board gives you another good setup.

Make each roll do more

A tournament is active at the same time, so a Tax or Utility landing near a Railroad can help both events in one move. This is where a little patience pays off. If you're close to either a scoring space or a Railroad, check the possible dice ranges before committing to a large multiplier. Some players also like to keep Monopoly Go Stickers buy options in mind while planning their wider event progress, but the immediate priority should still be protecting your dice supply and taking the best combined rolls.

Use the early rewards wisely

Look through the first few milestone rewards as soon as they open. Pickaxes and similar event items are worth collecting, since they can support the Dig event running alongside Beam Up Bonanza. You don't need to spend extra just to chase every point. Keep the multiplier low across quiet stretches, build it near the Tax and Utility cluster, and let the multi-day schedule work in your favour. A steady approach usually beats a flashy start that leaves you short on dice later.
